This chair was a nice fit for my 2-year-old daughter. We've had it for about seven months now and she's now just under 3' tall and it may be getting a little too low for her. But it was just right for her to sit and eat at our very low folding floor table. The only thing I don't really care for is that the backrest that flips down to make the lower step of the stool flips too easily. I still have yet to try to see if tightening the screws on the side would help it to not flip so easily. The wood is nicely sanded and finished and wipes off any food/drink spills. Pen markings don't come off as easily, though. There's some felt-type material glued under the feet. So, the stool doesn't glide on our carpet, and I guess it won't mark up wooden floors.I actually purchased this stool for myself with intentions of letting my son us it once he is old enough. I couldn't reach into his crib once we dropped the mattress down to the lowest level and this little stool was just enough. I weigh 130 lbs and it has had no problem holding me up for the last couple of months. It is pretty sturdy and I imagine when he is a toddler it will be perfect for him! Great quality!This chair is awesome for pics of little ones that aren't able to totally sit up. Just put there legs though backwards & they lean on the back (I hope that makes sense, it totally works but make sure someone is close just in case they throw themselves back)I originally thought this was great, but within a couple of months and minimal use, the stool is cracking in multiple places. Not good quality!I am using this as a chair for older babies for photography, I am screwing the sides together so no little fingers are pinched.Was expecting this stool to be a little bigger/taller. Really like the way the bottom part can be flipped up and the stool can be used as a sort of bench with a back.My child isn't old enough to use it standing at the sink, etc. but I don't think it will be tall enough when he is.Has held up well.It's cute but def not worth $20 bucks. It's about 5 inches off the ground. Not really sure what 5 inches would do.... Anyway .. the product seems well built but I really need to read descriptions.
