Sleepyhead Classic Board Book for Babies & Toddlers – Perfect for Bedtime Stories & Early Learning

This is the first book my young toddler wants to read at bedtime. It is a calming, slow-paced book in which the teddy bear named Sleepyhead wants one more of everything before going to sleep ("one more story said just right, one more gaze upon the night").I took away one star because the font is rather small on a couple of pages and is difficult to read when the lights are dimmed for bedtime reading. I have since memorized the story, but it was difficult at first and moving the book to bring it closer to me interruped the flow of the story.If you are looking for a baby shower gift idea, I would like to suggest a basket which contains the following:1. Various bedtime books (such as this book and our other favorites: This has been my favorite bedtime story for young children since before I had my own. I fell in love with it reading to my nephew a decade ago. I've bought many copies as gifts over the years.This book is perfect. We had one of those cheaply made copies that came in a cereal box for the longest time before buying this, but I'm so glad I found it. This is my kids' favorite bedtime story. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition.I have had this book for years, but my son is living with his father which is many miles away. We both LOVE this book and so do the rest of the children in my home. It is a wonderful, absolutely amazing bedtime book! I recommend it to EVERY parent of small children.I have a 4 year old, 2.5 year old and a 5 month old and this book is one of our favorites. The perfect book to read just before they fall asleep, especially since my own little sleepyheads are always asking for "just one more"...Got this book from a friend. It was one of my child's favorite for a while (2 to 3 years old). We liked it so much that we gave another copy to a friend as a present.This is one of my favorite books since my daughter was a baby. We had a torn up copy so I was happy to see the board book was available.We originally borrowed this book from the library and quickly feel in love with the story. I'm glad this book is now part of our collection.Lovely book, really nice rhythm, calming for bedtime.Very drab and disappointing book. Illustrations are very unappealing. My son barely looks at this book. Waste of money!Would make sure it was a board book next time. The thin pages rip easily! Yikes I dont read this book because my one year old would rip it! Need the completely hard book next time.
