This book is excellent for the Jr & Sr High students in their second cycle of Ancient Egypt. Mrs. Payne provides an excellent, and easy to understand journey through the history of Ancient Egypt. It is an engaging story, with literary license only in minor issues. The maps are well done.Negative - wish there was a timeline and the book was republished in hard cover!
