Description

The Books of Comical Heroes follows heroes and villains who eventually become heroes as they learn and explore their new powers or situations and become the heroes they need to be. Books of Comical Heroes Amitywave focuses on Naomi Johns (age 31), who gains water-powers and other powers. As Naomi gains powers, her doll comes to life and gains powers. Naomi's doll decides to be a villain and rule the universe, so Naomi decides to be a hero. Naomi encounters many heroes, villains, and has many adventures. "Why haven't you mentioned me?" a character who often interrupts interrupted. "It is not your book, and how are you interrupting me, anyways?" I, the real author responded. Yes, he seems to have to interrupt. I hope you enjoy the crazy, comical chaos.

First of all, buy the book (Amitywave)! I am basing my recommendation to buy this book, because I am a great fan of a GENRE that mixes GENRES which in this case Amitywave is a Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Comedy. There is a fine line between Fantasy and Sci-Fi, such as Star Wars is a Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Comedy story that puts this book somewhat in the Star Wars category. While reading the book, I was amazed by the author’s artistry in the description of the characters and the many “personas” that most of the characters have and how a character can be changed from living to non-living objects, which can be toys (“toy-i-fied”) which was a comical area of the book (If you were bad, you can be made into a Yo-Yo, which really made me laugh!). There were other parts throughout the book that made me laugh and the characters laugh too! The Sci-Fi part that I was intrigued with had to do with telecommunication, cloning and super power bracelets. When I was working, I did fantasize in sending my clone to work, while I stayed home! The Fantasy/Sci-Fi part that really got my attention was Virtual Reality! Can you imagine having a Virtual Reality session (Maybe with a date) all over the world…then using some kind of tele-transportation to any place in the world (I’m sure a country will not be happy with tourists without passports). As I read the book, I was thinking about how a screen adaptation would work. It will have to be a feature full length animation movie (Too expensive to have several actors/character)! You can also show igloos and dream bubbles etc. I imagine the film will develop the characters like the book and have a fantastic ending showing the characters like they were described at the end of the book. Again, please buy this books, it was well worth the read!
